We have lived in Waller for almost ten years, and this was our first time eating here. It was delicious! We got the Paradise Platter and the Mexican Plate, and both came with a lot of food for a very reasonable price. As a pancake connoisseur, I would give theirs high marks! They were light and fluffy with the perfect amount of butter. Also, they leave the syrup on the table, so you don't have to ask for more. We dined in at 9am on a Saturday morning, and there was a constant flow of people coming in. Food was good as was the price. Like that it was off the beaten path away from Hwy 290. Staff was friendly and fast. Great use of an old building in downtown Hempstead. Why only 4 stars? The seating was very tightly jammed together. The tables need to be rearranged so that folks can stretch a little without bumping the folks behind you. If the manager responds and sends me a photo of nicely arranged tables I?ll edit and upgrade to 5 stars. If you?re traveling out this way, give them a try!!
Ate more than half my plate when I noticed a small black hair. The head server asked us if everything was OK. I said yes until I noticed this hair and showed her. She laughed and said (oh it looks the same colors as yours. It's probably yours. And took the plates and walked away , my hair is not black. They did not even refill our coffee or tea the whole meal. Really disappointing.
Walked in at the middle of peak hours. Very full no tables available. We did waited a bit to be noticed. As there was only 3 servers for the entire place. But once noticed waitress apologized for the wait- was very friendly and polite. Food was great. Prices were fair. Definitely a Good place to have breakfast.

One of the best for a home style breakfast! Really good food and wonderful service! The hash browns are very tasty and the coffee is above average. I generally get a ham cheese omelet stuffed with different veggies. Always delicious! Best breakfast in Hempstead!
Breakfast Paradise is an amazing restaurant in the little town of Hempstead, TX. It is very hard to come by a restaurant that serves homestyle breakfast. I highly recommend eating here if you live or are passing by and would like a delicious breakfast.

I had the Pork Chop breakfast and the wife had the Chilaquiles. Both were amazing! Everyone was super nice. Definitely will be visiting again.
