I just moved next to the breka cafe 3 days ago, I thought I would enjoy my cafe latte with a muffin, the cashier who took my order was so unwelcoming and mean, it made me feel like I am begging, however, I took my latte and muffin and asked for a cup of water, she didn't respond so I asked another counter waitress that directed me to the tap water. I chose a table to go and sit , carrying the latte and muffin and the condiments, the table was dirty so I had to clean it myself, then the water cup and the muffin fell on the floor, the staff behind the counter were looking and nobody even moved to help or clean the floor. This is a busy place! I wanted to try a few things since this place has such great reviews. Upon walking in you get into a line, tell an employee behind the counter what you'd like and they pack it up for you. I did feel rushed because they were so busy and I didn't want to hold up the line. I purchased the caramel macchiato cake slice, the mango coconut mousse, and the spinach and yam frittata bites. I liked the frittata bites the best. I dont think there was anything special about the 2 cake slices. I liked the caramel better than the mango coconut. Probably would go back to try the loaves/savory items instead.
