While visiting a nearby National Trust property, we stumbled upon this outdoor café. Some in our group were hesitant to stop and eat there, but I was intrigued by the delicious-looking food being prepared. My curiosity was further piqued when I saw the women rolling out dough and making pies on site. Everything we ordered was cooked to order, from beef burgers with chips and salad to a delightful veggie burger featuring a giant flat mushroom and goat cheese in a brioche bun. We had been wanting to visit this restaurant for a while, but only managed to do so last week during a sunny lunch break. We regret not coming sooner, as the lunch we had here was fantastic! The restaurant is beautifully situated in the middle of the park, providing a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of our day. The service was friendly and prompt, and the food was incredibly delicious! We sat at one of the available benches, and when our meals were ready, we were called to the window to pick them up. We tried the vegetarian burgers with wedges and the slightly spicy chicken wrap, and everything was absolutely delicious! We highly recommend this place!

I want to give this place 5 stars as the cafe is cozy, the staff is lovely and the platters are cheap and portions substantial: I got two dinners out of my Mediterranean platter for takeaway (subbed fava bean falafels for the lamb meatballs). But I got to ding a star for the tasteless soup of the day (spinach) that I just poured down the drain when I got home. So £4.50 wasted. But the platter was fantastic: juicy tabbouleh and perfectly grilled halloumi and fat falafels that crunched perfectly. The yogurt sauce that accompanied three platter is bang-on savoury and sweet with not too much cucumber bits. If I was in the area, I would return just for that!

Located approximately 30 minutes driving distance from London Bridge Station, the restaurant is situated near the Nike Factory Store and Church of Apostle Philip (a 38 minute drive). I visited on a Sunday morning and found it to be peaceful and quiet. The staff members were friendly and helpful with their recommendations. Stumbled upon this cafe knowing nothing about it ahead of time. Ordered a tapas board/ plate with hummus, falafel, cured meats, cucumber and tomato salad, halumi cheese and grilled cauliflower and zucchini! Everything was delicious! My husband had the same and our 9 year old devoured an American breakfast. Place is quite small, but worth going to! Staff very friendly! A+

Discovered this special café last Friday while searching for a lunch venue. Staff very friendly and helpful, food simple, straightforward, fresh cooked and delicious. Good value also. Gozleme highly recommended, though menu is varied and can be adapted to requirements. Ideal for take away also. Will certainly visit again.

very slow service toast was burnt veg sausage hadn't been cooked thoroughly beans lacked flavour slightly over priced on a positive note staff were polite lovely garden I will give this place the benefit of doubt and try again next time as menu is quite extensive

Located very close to Hackney town centre this nice little cafe has some outdoor tables to sit out in the park, formerly the church gardens Great value snacks and good choice of hot drinks
