Brew Wizards Board Game Café

They didn't update any social media to say the game wasn't a drop-in due to it having to be carried over from last week, and the other staff didn't know so they couldn't tell us before we ordered. So we spent $26 on food and drink for a game we couldn't play.They knew since the last drop-in game that this one wouldn't be because it was carried over. To not update social media at the very least, shows a gross disrespect towards their customers, and I will never go back if this is how the owners allow their staff to run events.If you know beforehand that the details of an event have changed, it's bad business practice to not update your social media with those changes. If I could give negative stars I would for that alone. They were perfectly polite about how they blatantly failed their consumer base though, so at least there's that.Edit: The hummus is bland and so is the homemade dip for the chips so the drinks was the only good thing.

Brew Wizards is an amazing cafe downtown that has a very large selection of great coffees and teas. On the menu is an impressive selection of local Ontario craft beers. I believe they also have one of the largest collection of board games anywhere. They have regular game nights and groups that hold events. Well worth the visit as a place to meet friends or as a regular drink spot. Kudos to the team at Brew Wizards.

Cool place, pretty good selection of games. This is a board game cafe first and a restaurant second. Not to say that the food is bad because it is quite good, there just isn't a ton of food to choose from. Staff was quite nice and wife and I will be back!Parking: Small (free! parking lot on the south side of the building. Tons of room when I went but it also wasn't busy.

Went here with friends and it was really fun! Plenty of games to choose from. It felt very nostalgic like being a kid again and playing games with your friends while having the classic combo of a sandwich and chips dip. The staff were friendly too. Very casual comfortable vibe :

Such a fun spot with a great atmosphere. The coffee and craft beer selection is top notch. I really enjoy my visits here and it's mostly because of the great staff.
