Brewers Fayre Guild

Went for a Boxing Day treat. We were totally underwhelmed entering a half empty, run down dining area with no atmosphere and no festive music playing. Starter of tomato soup arrived with a film of oil over it, vile! Was told by waitress that it was a pesto dressing and other people had also complained. Why continue serving it then? She was sorry and offered me a drink as a goodwill gesture. The waitress was polite but the place was obviously understaffed. We both had the carvery which looked unappealing and was luke warm at best. We were eager to leave and took our dessert home. No surprise, we won't be returning!!

Breakfast with Santa is always a busy time of year, but this year was very poor. There was obviously a lack of staff especially preparing and restocking the breakfast buffet. This led to enormous queues, the coffee machine was not working, the hot water for tea did not seem hot enough, even Santa was on the grumpy side and didn’t interact with the children very well. We have been to the Guild many times for breakfast with Santa and it’s never need like this, let’s hope they were just having a bad day.

I have visited The Guild several times and it remains my favorite place to go. Last night was no exception, despite the staff being busy with a large group, they still provided excellent service and food. Steph, Emma, and Oliver were amazing and efficiently served our food, while Charlie made delicious cocktails, although they did take some time to prepare. Even with the large group, our food arrived quickly, despite being told there might be a wait. I will definitely be returning in the new year.

I recently visited the guild whilst in the area visiting family , and the meals were delicious ! Good priced menu , and very tasty deserts . The lady who served us Amy b I think her name was provided an exceptional service . Can’t wait to come back ! Reserva una mesa ahora

This restaurant is a great spot to visit. The staff, especially Devika who served me, are friendly and polite. Devika is always smiling, which adds to the pleasant experience. The service at this restaurant is lovely.

Had dinner at the guild today with my family. We visit here often and the staff are always really lovely especially Amy B. She couldn’t do enough for us. Absolutely great service.

Went to the guild for a carvery with the kids on Boxing Day. Adam V served me delicious turkey and a lovely piece of his **** beef
