Brewers Fayre Malt Myre

Settled for the inclusive breakfast here from the adjacent Premier Inn. It didn't start well as at 0800 no staff were visible and we were left waiting at the door for 5 minutes. We gave up and entered and starting helping ourselves when a highly distracted young man appeared and asked for room numbers and said that if we'd been to PIs before, we'd know the score. Great huh? The buffet was dreadful. Tired, sad and mostly inedible, The sole saving graces were the sausage and the exit. The staff clearly had a social scene going and tge customers came a poor second. Clearly this place needs staff training and quickly! Very very poor.

The food was so good and we both loved it. I had smothered chicken and my husband had triple pies. They are both a must have. We then had puds. My husband had roly poly and it was very good. I had sundae with cabirys chocolate and it should have had caramel nibbles and sauce but I don’t like caramel so they did chocolate sauce and flakes. It was amazing. Niamh G served us and went out of her way to make us happy. We have had a great night thanks to the food and the service from Niamh G. Thanks to you all.

Good service however. Had to request table to be cleaned, also food droppings on floor. Three out of four meals were not good, veg and tomatoes missing,later received. Only meal that was ok was fish and chips although chips could have been nicer. Everybody had dessert and 10 out of 10. Interior in need of refurbishment, tired looking or a good steam clean. Certainly won’t return.

Lovely meal. We had been in Loch Lomond and couldn’t find a restaurant open. We saw Malt Myre on our way back to Glasgow, and took a chance. What a lovely surprise! Jiulie and her service team were so lovely, so attentive. We had fish and chips and fish pie, which were delish, two local ginger beers, and two coffees. Delightful! Warming, cosy. Thank you! great night and my server Becca was amazing, especially on a busy night. I was here solo for work but she had such great energy with everyone she dealt with regardless of the size of the party or the complaint table adjacent to me.

The buffet breakfast at this restaurant is fantastic with a wide variety of options to choose from. It is our go-to spot for breakfast. Becca and Julie are always welcoming, friendly, and willing to assist with anything we need.

I often stay at the Premier Inn next door and always dine at The Malt and Myre for breakfast and dinner whenever I am in town. The staff is exceptional and the food is consistently excellent.

We were there for a few days for a funeral and had dinner and breakfasts all the staff were very friendly and helpful and full marks to a young waitress called Sage who was outstanding Reserva una mesa ahora

Staying at the premier inn had to wait to check in so we came next door for a couple of drinks. Great service by Becca, place we clean and tidy. Will definitely be back.

This restaurant is excellent for breakfast, with a wide variety of options even for vegetarians. The staff, especially Becca and Julie, are very friendly and helpful.
