We go here regular for a great quality, great service breakfast and have always enjoyed the smiley face of Trish who is always happy to help in any way she can. Trish is usually there to greet you, show you to your table, ask for your order and nothing is ever too much trouble. If you want a great breakfast/ evening meal this is one of the best places to go in Wakefield. The staff at rhubarb triangle are a great asset and never disappoint in terms of high quality service. I was disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. The rump steak, gammon, and pineapple all came out burnt so I sent it back. When it came out again, the steak was undercooked and still had burn marks. I almost couldn't finish it, and my husband and I had a burnt taste in our mouths when we got home. I'm not sure what they are cooking the meat in, but it's leaving burn marks and tastes awful. The service was okay, but someone needs to clean the marked doors. I will not be returning to this restaurant.
I always enjoy coming to this restaurant because there is a wide variety of food and drinks to choose from. The staff are consistently friendly and accommodating, always willing to help with anything. During our last visit, we simply stopped in for morning coffee and I want to give a special shout out to Trish. She greeted us with a warm smile, seated us at our table, and offered to assist with anything we needed. It's always refreshing to receive excellent customer service like this.
One of the warmest welcomes to a restaurant I have been in for a while all staff were fantastic But shout out to lily and Alice they put up with us Scottish riff raff like a champ and always has a bit of banter with us. The amount of jack Daniels we consumed was enough to empty the bar but they never complained haha Drinks was a decent price Will definitely be coming here again in the future

Nice relaxed atmosphere. The pub is clean and tidy. The breakfast was cooked to order and the food was delicious. It came out really quickly so we didn't have to wait long at all. For the price you cannot go wrong at all. The lady who served us, Jo Dem is lovely!! Really bubbly and welcoming! We will definitely be coming back thank you so much.
I often visit this restaurant on Wednesdays. It's a local gem with excellent value. I must give a special shoutout to Trish, who is the sweetest, most friendly lady. The restaurant deserves credit for having such amazing staff.
Good hearty breakfast, kids eats feed! Great service by the staff, special mention to Trish She is a star!. Clean, good value and friendly and caring staff. What more do you want. Highly recommended.
Trish was very welcoming on entry, the menu was great value for money, the restaurant was clean and the food was high quality. I am looking forward to returning to the rhubarb for another meal.
