Brewers Fayre Rising Sun

As the only two in the restaurant we were taken to a dirty sticky table. We ordered 2 prawn cocktail, nachos and a burger. It then starts. The first thing they bring is the main, (the burger) nothing else. The burger was okay the chips were a bit raw. They forgot the starters, and one of the main meals. We then explained we wanted starters before the main, so they took the burger and brought starters. I started with the positive, the waiting staff was very polite and polite. Unfortunately, this is the only good thing in our experience. For the negatives.... Since the restaurant was quite empty, the staff decided to sit near another table where 2 of the 4 members of a family were hailed several times. If they hadn't finished their desserts, we would have moved. There were a whole list of items that were not available in the evening, which we ate here, which remained longer than the evening (for example, only after my curry had been brought to me, they told me that they had run out of Mango-Cutney). Over the weekend (10th-12th June 2022) at the Premier-Inn next door and used the Rising Sun a lot of time during our stay. First, we used the restaurant for breakfast both morning as it has a lot with the Premier Inn. We chose the Saturday night at Rising Sun and it was no better choice! Beverages and snacks at the bar were cheap and the customer service we received, especially by Barmanager Catherine, was great. Catherine went beyond and beyond to make sure that we felt welcome to insist on the memory of our drinks orders to insist that we have done the chaos we have and the drinks I spilled! Breakfast is great and also the staff, but the evenings are completely the opposite. Waiting times of 2 hours for food, employees have no idea what's going on at any time. To ask for a drink at the bar when it goes at 10:00, you'll tell him. If this is a pint you want to dive into the Spirit Store on Whippendall Rd or into the Harvester on Watford Rd.

Children eat breakfast free with an adult, so for a family of 4 it is under 20GBP for everything you can eat, what not to like? You need to ask for poached or cooked eggs and for vegetarian food, but the serving staff is fast, friendly and helpful.
