Brian's Bistro - Reservar una mesa

I was driving through to bar harbor and stopped by. The restaurant looks greats, and it's always reassuring to see an open kitchen. I had the Putanesca and it was absolutely to die for. Slight spice, light but with just enough cheese to give it a creamy taste. I'm from out of town, and would get it shipped to me if I could. Best pasta dish I've had in a long time.

One of the best meals I've ever had! Fresh, homemade food and dessert. Had the veal saltimbocca with linguine and it was incredible. Portions are very generous. To cap off the meal, I had homemade cheesecake with blueberries and fresh homemade whip cream. I could not believe how amazing this restaurant is and how great the food is. YOU HAVE TO EAT HERE!!!

Unreasonably high prices for average food and atmosphere.Several things surprised me, including when I bit into a French fry and grease squirted out and hit the person sitting opposite me. They were understaffed. We felt bad for the waitress, who did well in trying to keep up.

It's a small menu but everything on it is delicious. The atmosphere in the place is casual yet somehow still seems on the formal side. The waitress has a very nice and the prices are excellent
