"The food is very good but one primarily goes here for the ambience of eating in a historic manor. The character and atmosphere varies from room to room, which adds to the charm. The opportunity for unique menu items, such as Elk Wellington or boar is also very attractive. It's pricy but worth it at least once."

My husband and I went here for Valentine's Day weekend and we had the 5 course meal. My drink was nothing less than amazing, although I don't remember the name of it. My husband had her version of an old fashion, it was so smooth and tasty. At first I was worried about servings as the bowls and not quite small, but it was perfect dimensioning where we sat very comfortably full. He had the Bison and I had the Elch for our dinner ducks. For an appetizer we had the lobster bisque. I was very excited about him what much says because I don't usually taste for seafood soups for the reason that it tastes too fishy. This was creamy, tasteful and delicious. I highly recommend it. The Elk was well sea...

Briarhurst Manor is definitely an amazing experience when you are a Colorado native or just passing through this is definitely a place that is a must to see. I took my mother for her day and we could sit in the library, but the whole house It is open to look around and when you have time. Our waiter Kelly was a doll and was very attentive to us with our needs. We had the 5 course meal that was the only way to go. We had the house salad that had beetles, and walnuts with a raspberry vinaigrette, the house soup that was a fungus lentil and was super creamy both our ducks were the Sirloin and was the BEST Sirloin I ever had! I had the apple spiced Margarita. The chef Beyour I'm sure I wrote the...

We had an absolutely beautiful evening. We all had 5-course meals and were so enthusiastic about the presentation and quality of each meal. Our Hors D'oeuvre was a croquette with bacon, sour cream, cheese and microgreens. The bread spreads contained Huckleberry Marmelade, Wildflower butter and Honey Chili Marmelade. The salad was beautiful and almost too nice to eat. Our Intermezzo was a lime gelato that was perfect to clean our pallet before our Entrée. We had a fillet mignon, mushroom ravioli, land and sea (Elk and shrimp), duck with an orange ginger glaze, and beef bouruignon. Each dish was beautifully presented and the flavors were masterfully combined. Finally for dessert we had Crème b...

Five star food and service in a historic and somewhat sloppy mansion. Artistic presentation of delicious courses and a fabulous wine selection. Beautiful terrain, artwork and craftsmanship of the building give a unique atmosphere and enjoyable experience. The best shrimp ever had, and the Bison and Elk were perfectly prepared. I should have taken more photos, but too much to do when I show up!!!
