My husband and I visited today for some light snacks. He ordered the venom-flavored wings, while I opted for the yard bird chicken tacos. Unfortunately, my tacos were quite dry, as you can see in the picture. They also forgot to include the lettuce and fried jalapeños, so I had to ask for them to bring those out on a separate plate. I really don't understand why they would serve obviously dry tacos in the first place. As a chef, I would always check the food before it goes out. As for my husband’s dish, it was quite disappointing as well. The sauce was overly watery, lacking any real flavor, and certainly didn’t live up to the name "venom." Many of the other reviews are accurate. We waited for a table for six on wing night, where wings were just 75 cents each. We ordered wings, loaded mac and cheese, the Avalanche Burger, French bread pizza, a corn dog for the kids, and some nachos. We also tried the drink of the day, which came with a souvenir glass. The Jekyll Island design beer was the best I've ever had. Our server was very friendly, attentive, and offered helpful suggestions.
As locals, we enjoy coming here. I understand why they don't fill every table due to limited staff and COVID distancing measures. However, when customers are told there’s a 35-minute wait but then see empty tables and standing areas, it can be frustrating. As a suggestion, they should remove the “no seating” tables from the dining area and rearrange the seating to the left, ensuring proper social distancing is maintained.
Initially, I had some concerns because the host assigned to me never came to check in. However, after about 10 minutes, someone at the front of house noticed and took care of me for the remainder of my visit. I can't remember her name, but she was incredibly helpful! The AvalancheBurger lived up to its description and was delicious. It made for a great stop while I was on the road. I definitely recommend it!

I was recommended Brickhouse by an employee, and I'm glad I took their advice. The loaded BHG Mac-n-Cheese is rich and flavorful—honestly, the leftovers were almost even better! Next time, I plan to try one of their signature burgers. I definitely recommend this place for a casual lunch or dinner, whether you're having a watch party or just looking for a relaxing meal.
I absolutely loved the atmosphere at this restaurant! It has a wonderfully relaxed and comfortable vibe. The patio area is fantastic. The food and the staff were excellent as well! If you're in LaGrange, this is definitely a place you have to visit!
