We received a warm welcome at this traditional pub, which features a sports bar as well as a restaurant area. The menu offers a variety of homemade dishes, and there's also a specials board that showcases additional options. The staff were friendly and attentive, making our experience even better. The food was delicious and served in generous portions. I'll certainly return the next time I'm in the area. There’s plenty of parking available, and it seems like it would be fantastic in the summer with the outdoor seating and bar area. Expect to spend around £20–30 per person.

The service was quite friendly; however, the waiter was wearing an overwhelming amount of aftershave, to the point where you could actually taste it when he stood close by—and long after he left! My wife's steak kidney pudding was reportedly very good, but my gammon steak was thin, overcooked, and tough. When I requested a replacement with sliced ham, it arrived cold. To make matters worse, the pint of O.J. lemonade I ordered was only three-quarters of a pint and still cost £5. I won't be returning.

The garden is lovely, and the staff is friendly and pleasant. Although the beer selection is somewhat limited, it offers a nice variety, and it’s great to see it served from the barrel—at least the Wherry was. Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

This pub is absolutely delightful, and the food is exceptional! I would rate the food a 5, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 5 as well.
