For our main course, we both had steak, and it was delightful; they truly serve the best steaks I've ever had. However, I ordered dauphinoise potatoes on the side, which turned out to be extremely dry and tasteless, resembling boiled sliced potatoes with a crispy top instead of the creamy goodness I expected.
We also ordered a side of mixed vegetables, but they forgot about it. We assured them it was no problem if it would take a while, but they ultimately prepared it, arriving only after I had finished my meal. When we spoke to the waiter, he mentioned that the usual chef was absent (as we had requested something from an old menu), so I suspect these mix-ups were due to a new chef or perh...
We've eaten here twice now, once with a Groupon deal, which was amazing value for money and a really good choice of dishes and again last Saturday evening. Once again, the food was really good and the staff attentive when you needed them to be. Really would recommend it.
The staff and the food were excellent however the decor while perfectly fine was not my taste I'd have preferred a more country home, warm type of decoration although i did like the Van Gogh's in the loo! But overall we had a fab' time, thank you! /MG
Really impressed. Lovely table, in a different section to the screaming child, (not restaurants fault) but they did seat people away from it, so well done, excellent allergy menu, attentive staff, excellent food, will be booking again

The service was excellent and we had a lovely meal from the set menu. Although the restaurant was quiet and lacked atmosphere, we would visit here again.
We had a wonderful time celebrating our daughter's birthday. The food was excellent, and the service was friendly and cheerful.
