Brigantine Seafood

My wife and I have eaten at the Coronado location but this was our first visit to this location. Parking is easy in the lot in front of the restaurant. The inside of the restaurant is bright and welcoming. Our server was efficient and timed out the meal courses appropriately. We started with the brussels sprouts and the combination of flavors was excellent with a great balance of savory and sweet. Some of the best brussels sprouts we have had. For dinner, my wife had the mac nut mahi mahi and I had the Swordfish. We both agreed the cook on the fish was very good and the accompanying vegetables and rice rounded out the meal. My food was delicious. I had the blackened salmon. My husband said his pork chop was overcooked and too dry. It was so noisy that we couldn’t hear each other talk. I wish Brigantine was cozy and romantic the way it was many years ago. It used to have cozy private booths, but now it’s a noisy dining room. The food is high class and expensive but the ambience doesn’t match. Still, I’d go back maybe for lunch instead.

Great happy hour! Lots of selections for $7! Spinach salad and 10 shrimp were excellent! Fried food too artichokes and calamari. The clam chowder was a little salty for me. Lots of other choices too. Friendly service.

Baked oysters were nice. Wagyu burger and marinated swordfish were really good. Reasonable prices, friendly staff, very good restaurant overall

As always the Brig came through with great food and service. We had reservations but sat in the bar area for the tv.
