Visited here today with a group of friends . Starters all arrived very quickly and were lovely and hot . We then waited for over one hour for the mains to arrive which were all cold . We requested that the meals were warm . The chef was extremely rude storming through the restaurant huffing at our table making us feel very uncomfortable . Food was returned a few items at a time with only half the meal so when the second half arrived the first part again was cold . Steaks were reheated over salted and rubbery . We were recommended to Brinsley lodge by our daughter and son in law who are regular visitors. We weren’t disappointed. Lovely welcome and staff attentive . We had the chefs special sharing nachos. Oh my word! Absolutely delicious. We had mix grill (paid an extra £1 for the burger) plus peppercorn sauce and the final dish admiral fish finger bloomer. Both came with homemade fires and onion rings plus a corn on the cob. The portions were very plentiful, delicious and reasonably priced. As per anywhere else the drinks are what bumps up the price. Our family went for a meal about 1pm new years eve the upstairs wasn't very busy just a few tables taken. We had to go and ask someone to take our order after waiting to long. When the food came it was delicious couldn't fault it. But then we waited and waited for someone to collect our plates to order desserts but gave up in the end and paid the bill. Couldn't understand it as there were plenty of staff on. Don't think we will hurry back.

with my partner eating was excellent, brilliant prices and very fast service. the waiting staff could not be enough for us was friendly and polite and was very cleverly dressed. the only small underpass was the assistent manager who was rude and unfriendly barking orders for the rest of the staff, but apart from then on we had a nice meal and a good time. Enjoy a Christmas feast with a 3-course meal for only £19.19. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was sublime. I can't wait to come back next year. Don't miss out on their amazing lunchtime steaks. A big thank you to the staff - we will definitely be returning!

Best sunday dinner around! Had the beef and it was so soft, infact everything on the plate was cooked to perfection! Decent price for quality food. Steaks are always cooked perfect too! I would highly recommend to go for food! Nice seating in or outside with a little play park too!

excellent steaks! really meat option in the brinkley lodge. the personal we are friendly and helped with our selection of food. my rumpsteak was cooked to perfection, with really good portions on the side. great atmosphere inside or outside.

would definitely recommend this place. eating was excellent, although the personal problems had cocktails, was not aware that new cocktails were added to the menu. apart from that very satisfied.

Arrived without a booking and got a table for two straight away, friendly staff great menu for burgers and steak's. Food was quick and hot and very tasty. Had a lovely meal
