Brioche Doree - Reservar una mesa

The bus shuttle stops in front of the restaurant before and after driving to the island. Good place to pick up sandwiches, dessert, and drinks for about 10 Euro per person. We picked up sandwiches to go on our way out of town and enjoyed a nice picnic lunch later at the rest area. We typically look for Brioche Doree as they have good sandwiches at reasonable prices with good desserts and good drink selections. This particular restaurant seemed to be a little more expensive but not surprising due to the location. I did see a sandwich shop on Mont St. Michel where you can get a sandwich combination for about the same price but did not try it.

We stopped here as to be honest, it was the only restaurant that wasn't closing at 1:50pm. The menu was expensive and I guess we could have eaten in Mont St Michel itself for the same prices. The ambience of the place was more like a diner, with plastic chairs and tables. It's huge inside too. The meal itself wasn't great, not up to the usual French restaurant cuisine and certainly not worth the prices they charge. I wouldn't be in a hurry to return. Nourriture pas bonne, très chère.

To note when visiting Mont Saint Michel (if you are staying off island) there are not many options for breakfast. We stayed at an airbnb and wanted to get something small to eat before taking the free shuttle to Mont Saint Michel island. It is quick, easy food. Nothing special but good to hold you over until you can get something for lunch. Conveniently located near the shuttle stop to get to Mont Saint Michel.

Short changed me. Called me a liar. Disgusting attitude. Should have cctv to watch their staff. She probably just pocketed that cash.

A nice, inexpensive place to stop for a hot chocolate shop while waiting for the nearby restaurants to open.
