Bristol's Oyster Bar is not your usual bar. You'll notice as soon as you go in. From the host (which is sometimes the owner Peter) to waiting staff, shovels, cooks and bartenders. You are an amazing group of people, no matter where you sit, but for me the best place is the bar. They have never lacked entertainment and a front seat view of the delicious selection of fresh oysters, small bottlenecks and lobsters. What is not present at the raw bar is prepared in the open kitchen. Although the whole staff is great, I have some favorites, including Mike, Scott and Ben. Had a wonderful birthday dinner. Good personal service, friendly and helpful service. The timing of the food was excellent, decent wine list. I had the muscat. The oysters were delicious and I loved the whole restaurant week meal and the bread pudding was for dying. And I got the bisque at the house for a birthday surprise. Every minute of it loved. I usually don't eat candy, but I'm gaga over the bread pudding. The app was so generous that I couldn't finish it, a first but I first ate about 16 oysters. I can see that customers simply love the place and the location is sweet. Place is small and intimate.

Bar is my favorite restaurant in Bristol. Of course, the oyster selection is phenomenal. What BOB is the inventive menu with new and interesting offers that jump out of the kitchen, and the friendly and efficient staff that makes the food at BOB an event and not just a meal. Gail says Patty Melt is the best burger in Bristol. The Duck Confit Sushi, a new recurring special, combines Asian flavors with the satisfying crunch and taste of the confit, and even though it is as an appetizer, it is enough for dinner. Can't wait to go back!

Outstanding raw bar, reasonably priced. Terrific wait staff... Fun bar area... Outdoor seating... Bristol-awesome... The only negative I can find is that they are TOO good: always busy, tough to get seating at the bar. Regardless, this venue is WELL worth it.

The menu changes the use of fresh products in the season. The food is delicious, the staff appreciated and attentive. You have the best seafood. Seasonal sensational desserts also, so try to leave space they enjoy. Great!
