This was a terrible experience. The service was poor, inattentive, and the food was subpar, bland and unsatisfactory at best. (We ordered the cowboy ribeye, oysters Rockefeller, Campanella, seafood mixed grill, calamari, kids grilled cheese, kids shrimp, and mixed drinks. Sides were lobster Mac and cheese, broccolini, asparagus, mashed potatoes fries. The portions for the appetizer of calamari was laughable. Furthermore, the server (Amanda) overcharged by $80 for 5 items that we did not order. We didn’t recognize it until leaving, thus went back in to get a manager. I was thrilled with the tuna sushi appetizer and highly recommend it. My daughter had oysters on the half shell and entree was mussels. Both were delicious. She even brought the mussels broth home. My entree was disappointing. Salmon with mashed potatoes and broccolini. Salmon was pretty good. Potatoes were kind of runny and tasteless, broccolini was cold and totally overcooked to the point that I could barely chew it. Our server couldn’t have been better. Atmosphere perfect. A disappointing experience at Bristol, which is usually so reliable. We got to the first table offered, and had to ask to move as it was so cold. We were moved without fuss when we asked. The waiter seemed to have trouble hearing my wife, yet I had no problem hearing her, or he me. I wondered if it was a problem with women, because it happened more than once. Starter was good. My wife’s steak was delicious, as usual, but the Paella was not at all good. Bland, over cooked seafood the whole nine yards. Had our anniversary dinner here this evening will continue to have it here each year as it’s a great place to eat. Loved their pretzel crusted tuna while the wife loved her maple plank salmon. Was a terrific place to go have a nice, quiet conversation with each other while the kids stayed with the grandparents for a change.

Always a great choice. Best crab cakes in the area and they make the meal special every time.
