"Well worth the wait! The fish and chips entree was delicious. Very large portions and extremely fresh. The seafood chowder was a bit bland in taste. Very friendly staff and great service. Definitely recommend this place."

This place is more expensive than your average fish and chips. But you get what you pay for. The fried Halibut is number 1 on my list. The batter is gluten free, light and it is not soaked in oil. I couldn't believe it's deep fried. The fish itself is also excellent. You can get it also steam or pan fried. The haddock is steamed. The avocado salad is also excellent. It's just the regular salad with half avocado in it. The patio is also pet friendly but our dog really have to sit pretty much on the fence. The only problem I had is the service took too long. It wasn't busy that day but for some reason they took our order after sitting their 20 min. Then the food didn't come out until 40 min later. The other two tables of four that came after us got their food first and they ordered the same food. Keep in mind we had a different waiter.

First the fish....Excellent It was so good. The batter was light and NOT greasy. It was a large piece and served with lemon and tartar. With the fish came a choice of fries - shoestring or thick cut. We all had thick cut. The fries were just okay. They are not made there so that was a disappointment but the fish certainly made up for it. I wish now I had more fish and no fries. We ate outside on the patio so have no idea what the inside of the restaurant looks like. Mo, our server was pleasant, efficient and professional.

We parked in front of it and happened on it by accident. It is absolutely the best bowl of chowder I have had in a super long time, loaded with muscles and lobster, it was a meal onto itself. Hubby had the panko chicken burger and loved it but not as much as he loved the fries. Kids shared nachos.Pricey for what you order, but you get tons. Suggest splitting and sharing to feast in the fish. It was great

We were four people and arrived after 7pm after having traveled all day. The decor and the outside dining area on the terrace is what lured us to this pub. We were quickly seated but service was slow. The fish and chips were excellent but we had to wait for cutlery and the salad came without dressing though we asked for dressing. Prices are reasonable and this restaurant is centrally located.
