On back to back visits now I have ordered feisty fries takeaway and only received cheese sauce, not the jalapeños and additional sauce. The first time I went through the feedback in the online ordering system suggesting I would next time just order cheese fries and if they could include the extras it would be all square. No reply. So on my recent order we ordered two feisty fries and again no extras. So that’s three feisty fries now and no extras and no replies. I’m just fed up Team. Can someone reach out and fix me up? Delicious and simple burgers. The menu is small and simple which makes life easier in my view. The burger has a great flavour profile as the beef is juicy, milk bun is soft, cheese is melted, sauce is smooth and pickle adds that final touch. The beef patty seems to be a smash burger patty and is super thin so you probably need to get a double to fill up and is not the greatest value for money from a size perspective, but from a flavour perspective it hits the spot. Id rather pay for more for something that tastes good so this place is definitely worth a crack.
These are the best smashed burgers in Brisbane! Be sure to try the Classic Oklahoma with grilled onions. While I personally love the triple burger, I think the double is the most balanced option since it's less messy. Always order the chips—they're among the best in town. The fries, great for sharing (though everything is served as individual-sized portions if you're really committed), come highly recommended, especially the cheese, feisty, or chili varieties. I’m not sure what has happened to BHBC Morningside, but the staff on Easter Monday (April 1, 2024) were incredibly rude and seemed to lack basic customer service skills. They literally tossed my order from the bottom counter to the top and then slapped it down on the bench. The burger was mediocre at best—extremely oily and fell apart as if it were undercooked. The chips were old, stale, and just average. It’s definitely not what it used to be!

Pre ordered lunch and arrived slightly early. Made myself known to the counter staff who said my order was still being prepared. My order was then set aside with a bunch of others for half an hour.
