Broken Yolk Cafe - Reserva de mesa

Update: 30 OCT 22 - Still fantastic with no issues. However, I do find myself having to remind servers in this town not to overcook the eggs. Scrambled eggs should be yellow, light, and free of any browning from excessive heat or cooking time. To avoid this problem, I recommend ordering egg whites or sending back any overcooked eggs until they're done right. Generally, when you ask for a light scramble, they manage to get it perfect on the first try.

Stopped by Thurs a.m. before heading home to L.A. waitress was not welcoming, unfriendly, forcefully asked if mom wanted coffee refills, about 4x. She'd look away when asking pouring, just very unpleasant. Mom's omelet plate was a generous portion, my plate eggs, short stack, bacon fell short, served borderline cold (was sitting most likely) pancakes were very very dry, bacon close to burnt. $56 for two, 1st time at this location and probably last.

This is the worst place ever for bringing your dog. Go to the broken yolk in Yuma or San Diego. Don’t waste your time going to this location. Also they assumed never verified if my dog was a service dog. We have no problems at other locations. The manager was very rude! We went over to burgers beer they welcome us in with our pet. I will never come back to this broken yolk again!!!

Got there a little late (10 mins), so ordered after everyone else in my party. Thought I would be eating by myself, but my order was brought to me about two minutes after those with me. My waitress knew to tell the cooks about my order and to place it ahead of the others. That's what I call professional service Reserva una mesa ahora

The Broken Yolk is a great American restaurant located in Imperial Valley. They offer a wide selection of breakfast and lunch dishes, including omelets, benedicts, pancakes, toast, sandwiches, and burgers. Personally, I really enjoy their Tiki toast, Wild West burger, and Hawaiian fried chicken burger!
