"Ate here two times to enjoy the delicious food. It was nice that it was a block off Main St so we could find seating without waiting. It’s a smaller place but we were still able to get seated, even splitting up at the bar versus tables."

We went here because the restaurant we wanted to visit was closed. The cocktail my husband had was very small and weak for $10 . I ordered chicken tenders which were not seasoned on top of a large amount of almost cold fries. I didn’t bother telling them about the cold fries because I didn’t want a whole plate recooked. A few hot fries would’ve been nice to be served in the first place. The server was very nice in general and I didn’t want to ruin the lunch. I would not recommend this place.
Omg! My tummy is super happy! My boyfriend and I decided to share two meals. We had the BLT and the Black and Blue burger and both were RIDICULOUS! Brittany our server was on point with the entire experience. She recommended a strawberry zombie beer that was also delicious. I forgot about taking photos of my food before hand but the plates should tell you the tale of an excellent experience. I couldn't get down anymore for dessert
Brooks Tavern is the tavern where truly everyone does know your name! It is only a block off Main Street on Third Ave in the center of Hendersonville, NC. The burgers are the best around, wings are brined before frying them and the new Reuben sandwich is to die for! They have specials every night so go to their website and pick a night that works for you! Don't be surprised if you have to wait to get in- it's THAT good!
we are a bit local (tryon, nc) and were already often in brooks tavern. it is always excellent! while so many dishes on the menu are wonderful, we must give the fried mushroom cup, the smash burger and the monte Cristo sandwich ride. the entire staff is super friendly and attentive, offers excellent service. we recommend brooks tavern to the local and visit the opposite and the giggle water will giggle them.
