we went to eat a poutine here on recommendation and we were not disappointed! There is a wide choice, as well as for beer (they even have handicraft beers) this place also offers evening shows and game diffusion, the atmosphere must be very nice there these evenings! The restaurant is still very rustic (simple chairs and wooden tables, not what is more comfortable.) however, the service was very long, the server was alone and quickly got overflowed, it is to demortiver the customers to order something else!To crown the whole, being new on Montreal we still do not fully control the rule of 15% tips to be added on the addition. not being very satisfied with the service we left 3€ of tip in all...
I used to love coming to this restaurant for the beer selection, knowledgeable staff, delicious food, and friendly atmosphere. However, my recent experience was disappointing. We were planning on enjoying a lazy afternoon beer and early supper, but ended up leaving after just one pint. The waitress brought us the wrong beer - a stout instead of an IPA - and insisted that it was correct because that's what the computer said. She offered no alternative and refused to acknowledge the mistake even after I looked it up. Additionally, the glass of water she brought had a leak and when we asked for a replacement at the bar, she never brought one or offered to clean up the spill. We ended up leaving...
Local food, micro brew and good company. That sums up Broue Pub Brouhaha! I wish I had a place like this near where I live. My friend and I had one last night in Montreal and we found this place online. What a cool spot. It's a microbrew bar, it's small and there is a function room attached to the bar where some people were getting ready to watch a soccer match with a projection screen. The food was awesome. It was a great way to end a great visit to Montreal. And make sure you pick up one of their sweatshirts. It's the softest sweatshirt I've ever worn. And who wouldn't love to wear the phrase Brouhaha? Right?!
Great place to hang out with friends. Food is great. We had smoked duck wings, pork ribs and pulled pork! The meat was tender, cooked to perfection with great flavors. Atmosphere is friendly, service is quick. The menus are in French so the waitress patiently explained the stuff on the menu and recommended dishes. Apparently the craft beers are great. The food was delicious, but pricey. The portion sizes didn't quite match the cost, unless you choose the ribs and duck wings platter. Our table left still feeling a bit hungry, with everyone digging into my plate of ribs and wings. The beer was excellent, but I recommend ordering more than one dish to feel satisfied. Despite the high prices, the food tasted great. I just wish the portions were more generous.
a true temple of beer since 2008, the brouhaha has made us discover the québec brassicole in 24 pumps. in a festive and friendly atmosphere, the “Brou” offers a pub kitchen with smoked poutines and meats on site making the fame. friendly service, home beers and thematic evenings, it makes good living in our neighbourhood bar!
Broue Pub Brouhaha is one of those treasures in Montreal that you must search out and enjoy! Manager Daniel is super enthusiastic about his beer and food! Be sure to try the Poutine - it is one of the best in Montreal. Their line up of craft beers created by Brew Master Marc are sure to satisfy.
