Freshly caught every morning Whitefish! Make sure to go early in the afternoon as they close once stock runs out. This is a must stop every year when we go up to our cabin..... Battered Whitefish and jumbo shrimp (basket or sandwich), smoked Whitefish and other goodies available. 20+ year customer spanning several generations. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20
Don't miss this spot! Skip Taquamenon Falls and continue north until you're nearly in Paradise. The fish here is simple, fantastic, and incredibly fresh. There are no frills or sommeliers, but the quality of the freshwater fish is unmatched. Just a heads up: if they run out of fish, they close up shop, and the only warning you'll get is a handwritten note on the door.
I'm currently at this location on July 20, 2023, camping nearby, and I found that the restaurant is closed. The park rangers weren't sure why it has been closed, but it seems that it has been like this for some time. Just a heads up...
