I took a group of law students visiting Derry on a study tour to lunch at Brown's in Town last week while we were spending a day in Derry as part of a study tour. The food was excellent, I can't fault anything I had...and my fellow diners were also full of praise. I was very impressed with the efficiency of the staff. I put them under a bit of pressure when booking as I needed to get the lunch turned around in a little over an hour as we had an appointment to get to. They coped with this admirably, serving up two courses that were chosen on the day, no need to pre-order, and my group was able to have a speedy but at the same time relaxed lunch and be on its way. brown’s in town is a byword for consistently excellent eating and service. it is an oasis of unmarried quiet center of the city and has never disappointed over several years and many visits. in derry there are more trendy spots, but this is a real classic and has a great menu and a front of the house team. there I take the visitors to the city if I want to impress them with something underestimated class.

I had a fantastic lunch experience right in the heart of the city. The scallops were an outstanding appetizer, and the risotto was absolutely delicious. The service was impeccable, provided by a very professional and experienced staff who were both helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this place!

It was a breath of fresh air to have a complete Vegetarian/Vegan menu available, with a wide variety of choices. The waitstaff took the time to confirm whether we were Vegetarian or Vegan, which was greatly appreciated. The staff were also very helpful and friendly. Reserva una mesa ahora

as always an excellent visit. the employees are well trained and competent in serving food and drinks. the wine poured at the table in a confident way that does not happen in all restaurants! eating cooked and beautifully presented. all in all a beautiful meal.

We always visit this restaurant whenever we're in the area because it’s one of the best around. This time, the food lived up to our expectations, but unfortunately, the service was not up to the usual standards.
