We can here Saturday for a meal as heard good things. We were not disappointed, the greeting, the service and the food were amazing. Glen is an absolute superstar working a whole restaurant in his own and never looks like he’s under pressure, an amazing man with a great personality and customer service. The new lady on the bar was sweet and polite. The one thing that did it for us and will be returning with friends is the music. It so wonderful to find a place in Loughborough that does not conform to the rowdy loud music and it was acoustic chilled and not obtrusive to our meal, we could also see that people were leaving tables to sit in the bar after their meal too which you don’t see very...
I hadn't been to Brown's in a few years, but decided to give it a try for a change. The service was lacking, with a waitress who seemed to be new and didn't greet us with a smile. The menu had limited options for starters, with one not even available. I ended up receiving the wrong dish, but it was still tasty. My wife's deconstructed cheesecake was a bit too much. Brown's has potential, but needs to improve their menu descriptions and service to stand out in today's competitive market. The tower burger was good, which is why I'm giving it 2 stars.
The experience at this restaurant was terrible. We waited 40 minutes for our starters and then 1 hour and 40 minutes for our main courses. My drink never arrived. The meat was tough and the vegetables were so hard that we couldn't eat them. When our dessert finally arrived, the waitress apologized and admitted that it didn't look right. It was green and we sent it back. The meal was a Father's Day gift from my son and daughter-in-law, so I didn't want to complain and ruin their gift. I wish I had just walked out like another group did.
In Loughborough to do a uni open day, stayed at Premier inn, very nearby. Hangry after a long drive we pitched up with no booking but we were welcomed by the bar tender in the downstairs bar and shown to a good table at the upstairs restaurant immediately. Great selection of cocktails and menu, Mac and cheese delicious. Philippa our waitress excellent. Be careful they don’t accept tips on the card machine, and there is no service charge, so they make tipping difficult! Take some cash!

Enjoyed a lovely dinner with my mum at Browns as it was highly rated on Google! It did not disappoint with great food and drink menus that would please all! Food was high quality, well presented and of a reasonable size for the price. Service was slick and friendly from Phillipa and overall we really enjoyed the meal!
Would give zero stars if I could. A wait in excess of two hours for a simple Sunday roast is in my opinion unacceptable. Especially considering that the restaurant wasn't particularly busy. The waiting staff seemed disinterested and the quality of the food poor. I wouldn't recommend.
Arrived at 3.30 and waited over an hour for a starter. No apology, no explanation, service staff entirely absent during this time. Items delivered did not match the description on the menu and some drinks not delivered at all. Really disappointing meal. I won’t be returning.
This is one of the best spots in Loughborough! The staff were so lovely and made my friend’s birthday really special. The food was incredible and such good value. Can’t wait to go back!

Food and cocktails were great. Service was perfect. The only negative is that the only way you can tip is cash who carries that???
