Browns has been gaining popularity across the province due to skilled bartending and upscale pub food. The menu isn't extensive but it is consistent at every franchise I've visited and there are a few pleasant surprises. Case in point, the Biltmore flatbread pizza on special Sunday and Monday for $11. Flame broiled shrimp, smothered in feta, sundried tomato, pesto and drizzled in jalapeño white sauce. It's difficult to describe how perfectly these subtle flavors compliment each other. I tried to use the delivery option, but it didn't work out, so I decided to go for a pickup instead. Unfortunately, my order wasn't ready when I got there. I appreciated that several employees checked in to see if I needed anything, but I was really frustrated that my takeout wasn't prepared. The restaurant had a lively atmosphere, although it was a bit noisy, except for the porch area. I ordered the chicken lettuce wraps and calamari and ended up waiting around for 10 minutes with my food sitting on the counter. Not a single person checked on me during that time. This is a Browns like all the other ones. Which is good and bad I suppose. You know they're going to have a standard service, and the same food everywhere you go. But you also know they're going to have the same food and service everywhere you go, so one bad experience will probably be repeated. Case and point in this visit. I had the blackened chicken bowl, with the low carb spa option. The dish itself is tasty enough, but I'm blown away by the tiny portion of chicken you get. It's one breast cut in half, then halved in thickness. So basically a quarter chicken breast. It is tasty though, but the $20 you pay for it is always a rip off.

My wife and I went here for lunch I have no complaints about the food or service both were good. The problem I had was ordering my fav drink ........ a Shirley Temple. When I go to a pub or bar being a non-drinker, this is what I like. It's an easy drink to make. I think any bartender with any skill should be able to make one. One part orange juice, one part pineapple juice a splash of 7 up with grenadine (please do the gradine right) poured on after. It should be garnished with a cherry. Premium food selection, it's a bit on the pricey end but it's well worth the cost. Serving sizes are so-so but again, it's pretty good so I didn't mind. The drink menu is pretty basic and repetitive but they're willing to customize so it's self mend-able. The atmosphere is nice and it's a pretty popular place do you'll definitely meet some people to chat with there. If you're from the area, you may even re-meet someone you use to know, it happened both times I was there which was a pleasant bonus.

Was super excited to see this building going up in town a couple of years ago. A decent bar within walking distance was just what the doctor ordered. A year and a half in though, haven't been back in months. The menu is stale. The atmosphere sort of blows. The social part in the name is truly ironic, not a very social place at all. And the final straw was the server telling us that she wouldn't get us water. Not like we weren't drinking...Anyways, not horrible, just meh...

My wife has celiac disease, so she can't have any flour. Their menu features many gluten-free options, but there’s a significant issue: while the food itself might not contain flour, they frequently cross-contaminate it by deep-frying in the same oil as other items. They really need to revise their menus to address this concern. For those without food allergies, though, it’s a great place to dine.

For many years I've had the same Meal at browns! It is my favourite go to! Blackened chicken fettucine! On this occasion it was mediocre at best. The cream sauce was bland almost flavourless. Chicken tasted so salty. Very disappointed Reserva una mesa ahora

Go here every two weeks. Good food, good wine, and nice atmosphere! I usually get the potato crusted Cod with the social white wine!! Friendly staff!!

The staff is excellent, and the food is incredible! We always have a great time when we visit. The atmosphere is lovely too.
