I’ve walked by this place but I’ve never been in and thought we would finally try it out. When we first walked in, the bar area was a bit busy with people very dressed up, i’m guessing they were heading to a holiday party. It was very loud. As we were ordering and eating the place got extremely full in the bar area, and so loud that you had to yell to have a conversation to the person next to you in the dining area. When we tried to leave it was so packed by the door you had to literally squeeze past people. In this day and age of Covid it was not a comfortable thing. Pretty horrible bar food set in such a nice location that it makes their restaurant such a waste. Each perso. In my party got different brunch items and all were bad except the French toast. Fried chicken and French toast sticks were poorly executed…. The oil that the fried chicken was cooked in needs to changed out it make it taste oil old dirty oil…. The chicken lacked even standard seasoning. Home fries were old and bland. Coffee was watery… no standard of excellence coming from the kitchen at all. Such a shame.
Went here for brunch before heading to catch a train. We visited several restaurants over our weekend trip to Boston, and Brownstone was the best service and value for the price we experienced. Our waiter made recommendations and even highlighted that the breakfast potatoes are cooked in bacon fat so the vegetarian in our party was able to make a substitution. Everyone enjoyed their meal, from eggs benedict to corned beef hash, to the veggie omelet. It was a satisfying meal before a long train ride.
We had a reservation for 10am as our last date in Boston. The hostess very kindly let us in a few minutes before and wait inside the premises. At 10am, they took us to a table located next to a window, which allowed us to see the coming and going of people. We ordered the Fried Chicken and French Toast, the brunch burger and a side of applewood bacon. The food was very good, the combination of chicken and fresh-toast was delicious. We would visit again if the opportunity arises.

Here for Sunday brunch with friends. Certainly enjoyed the roasted chicken and French toast, highly recommend! Mimosas on point, price was quite reasonable, staff super friendly and the ambience was perfect. Absolutely come back!
We had a great time! The food was really good. There were some healthy options that I really appreciated. The service was great. Would definitely recommend!!
We had the Montreal Christo and Salmon Bagel for brunch. Both were good/hot/tasty. Baby Shark sounds funny but was tasty. Get a window seat!
Easy to get a reservation. Lots of garage parking next door. Easy to get into the city for this. Amazing food. Amazing.

Here to brunch and it was very good! We have pancakes and French toast and loved them both.
