It’s located in a heritage building but the air conditioning was running good, I know others prefer the patio but it was a hot day when I came. Food was delicious, had the mussels, pork chop and duck breast orders. Service was friendly, we were greeted and seated quickly, but there was a longer wait time after our orders were placed for the food to arrive. The place did get busy so I suppose it’s somewhat expected.
This might be the best trout I've ever eaten. The skin was crispy but the meat flaky and tender - not a bone in sight. Served over perfect potatoes, green beans, delicious sauce. Cucumber gazpacho, Bison carpaccio, escargots, beef cheeks, Thai curried cod, arugula salad were all reported to be super. It's a little bit loud but we could still hear one another. Efficient but friendly service.
Brownstone chefs have exquisite culinary skillset to match the world class service we enjoyed from Meg and the team. A 5star night out with family that we will fondly remember forever. Merci beaucoup Brownstone team!

Two years in a row now we've had our anniversary dinner here. Not only is the food absolutely delicious and amazing but the staff are kind and great at what they do! Thank you for the great night out!
Absolutely fantastic!! Can't recommend highly enough. Absolutely delicious food from start to finish, the house made blue cheese is brilliant! Eat here for the best food in Kamloops!
I am surprised that there is anyone who would not rate the Brownstone as "Excellent!!" They must have been sick.
