Brunnentor-Schnitzelbaron

I was on a one-year assignment in Zurich and this restaurant came highly recommended. It was (and is) my favorite place for schnitzel. Food and service were always excellent. If you go there in the Autumn, be sure to take advantage of its Wild menu, where a number of venison dishes are offered, all excellent. When I 'm in Switzerland, at least one meal there is a must for me.

I finally took the chance to stop and eat their original Wiener schnitzel. What can I say? It was amazing! Really good, soft meat, tasty and with amazing flavor. After I also ate an ice cream which has been very good too. Unluckily I don’t speak German but the staff has been very nice and we managed to communicate

We have been here before when visiting our family in Uster Switzerland. Never disappointed. Very busy restaurant but service is good and food comes very quickly and hot. I can’t comment about price as Switzerland is always expensive for us coming from the UK. I would recommend this for good food.

I went to this place several times, the people are very friendly, the food is very good and very consistent in between times. If I would need to criticise something maybe the big Schnitzel could be a bit thicker. I recommend going to this place.

On a football wednesday, the place is croweded with non footballers and female groups, reservation needed! Nice foid and good service; price is fair!
