Everything is just perfect – wow! We and our guests are completely enthusiastic about the team at the Brustenegg Hut. We celebrated our wedding there last Saturday, October 14th, 2023. From the food, which delighted all the guests with its quality and selection, to the friendly service, which read all of our wishes from our lips, to the ambience, which couldn't have been more comfortable due to the many details, everything was perfect. Fredo, the chef, really worked hard during the preparations and during the evening. A big thank you to him and his great team, who showed tireless commitment. Great location and perfect for parents who want to teach their children to ski. If the staff weren't hopelessly overwhelmed and unfortunately unfriendly at times, it would be a great tip. Unfortunately we've run out of patience so we can't rate the dishes. Maybe the management needs to consider adjusting operations on sunny weekends to accommodate the rush. Either more or more capable staff or perhaps a little more organization. The whole thing seems a bit chaotic, which certainly didn't help and caused frustration for many guests. Your location doesn't deserve that, just a tip because we would like to come but unfortunately not. Good luck for the rest of the season
Super nice hut with a nice terrace. But today unfortunately the service/kitchen didn't work at all, it took 3/4 hour until the food, 2 portions (French fries/Wienerli and fries with bratwurst and onion sauce) were served. The guests (8-10) from the next table even forgot their food. It was only after the guests complained after about an hour that the service staff noticed that something had gone wrong with their order. Ask the boss to improve the process again by the next nice day, otherwise the staff will suffer a lot from these working conditions
Coffee in a glass and an almond croissant....until I was able to order (repeated requests from the persona that I would like to order), say and write 40 minutes. Almond croissants arrived immediately, followed by coffee in a glass Another waiting time of 20 minutes.....I just paid so I don't have to wait another hour. There was a family at the table next to me who were not served. The family then got up and left annoyed without consuming anything. By the way, the family was in the restaurant before me
Disastrous service. I order inside, no waiter comes outside. Waiter comes outside, no other waiter has to take note. Why do you have to wait 20 minutes when there are almost no customers? You have the feeling that there is no service after 5 p.m. because employees are just watching the clock to check the end of work time on time. Incredible
Terrible experience after being served Frozen Knusperli Fish. No one apologised, the dish is one of the more expensive items on the menu (30 CHF). Several opportunities for an apology: when I returned the dish inside, our waitress, and the 'cook ' who brought the replacement.
