This is me and my son‘s new spot. He loves that this is the only ice cream place in town that offers some hotdogs and chicken tenders as well. Sometimes the kid wants more than just ice cream you know? Their ice cream is really good and although they don’t sell soft serve, they have an array of different flavors. I always opt for the peanut butter and chocolate milkshake which is incredible. This place is usually really busy and so you might get lucky and find that you come on a day that it’s super hopping. The ice cream is fantastic, but the customer service was terrible. Yesterday, myself and two other customers were waiting by the window for a long time. Despite there being four employees behind the counter, none of them acknowledged our presence. They all looked around but didn't indicate that they would be with us soon. As someone who has worked in customer service for 20 years, I know that a small gesture can go a long way. We ended up leaving and went to Cold Stone instead.
I was in line at the front window with two other people ahead of us when the manager, Alexia, closed the window on us to go speak to some friends at the side window. She then ignored us and started helping the people at the side window while we were left waiting. Eventually, when we were served, we expressed our displeasure with the service and she cursed at me and slammed the door.
