First things first. The cupcakes were ok just ok to me but my teacher and classmates did like them. Long story ... I was looking for a Black owned bakery and neighbors on nextdoor recommended BT's Bakery. They were especially excited about the $2 Tuesday cupcake deal. I checked the bakery's website to verify this and their hours. So I went to the bakery to buy a load of cupcakes for my classmates and teacher. The owner became a bit irate; she practically accused me of making up the deal. She then calmed down to tell me that it was no longer a thing since covid complicated matters (for all businesses) the year before. This use to be my go to for cupcakes or small cakes. The older lady has a nasty disposition, which I ignored several times. I go to buy 1 cupcake, she box it up and tell me the price, she look see card say; you gotta pay cash for 1 cupcake. I said nope (I had the cash) But her energy demeaner made me say F her. I try to support black owned community. The same respect I expect from other cultures is expected in mine. I’ll find another bakery with better customer service. Plus I dont want negative energy in soul. Do better Ts Bakery.(1 time a man was the counter, very pleasant) but the older lady, Nah, I’m straight.
I always make an effort to support local businesses, but unfortunately, my experiences at this restaurant have been consistently disappointing. Each time I visit, they never have the items I came for. I've even called ahead to check on specific items, only to be told they were available, only to find out they weren't when I arrived. This has happened multiple times. After a few months, I decided to give it another chance, but the same issue occurred. At this point, I've decided I will not return. As for the desserts, they're nothing special.
The pastries at BT's Bakery are absolutely delightful! The cupcakes and cakes are moist and bursting with flavor. From classic Vanilla to my new favorite, Orange Creamsicle, every option is delicious. This has become my go-to bakery for special treats and event orders.

Stopped in last minute to grab some cupcakes for a coworkers birthday. They were fantastic. Very fresh and delicious. The lemon coconut, strawberry crunch cheese cake and Bavarian creme cupcakes were among the favorites.
Service was very nice, they had samples and answered all my questions! I would go there again to like when people talk to you and not at you a big difference
Very delicious desserts! The owners/ workers are nice they offer a punch card that allows you a free visit. A clean environment that is family oriented.
The pound cake is delicious! The brownies are just okay. However, the cupcakes and mini cakes are fantastic. The staff is really friendly as well.

Always have a good experience at Star. There seems to be the products we wanted and even more to add to the purchase. Staff is great!
Extra special bakery. Beautifully decorated cupcakes and little tiny cakes for two. Fabulous vegan options.
