Had a church outing on Saturday Oct. 8th. We decided to have an early dinner after our Harbor cruise and we picked Bubba Gump in Long Beach. It was perfect because we just had to cross the street from dock two. The whole group of 28 walked over, we waitedabout 5 minutes to have everyone seated. The team had taken the time to decorate with balloons and had made a special menu justfor us. Drinks were brought out right away, then salad garlic bread. Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. is a popular tourist destination conveniently located near the harbor and the Aquarium of the Pacific. The restaurant features ample indoor and outdoor seating and offers validated two-hour parking if you use the Aquarium's garage. It's a family-friendly spot with plenty of interesting decor to explore. They host trivia games where you can compete with other tables for bragging rights, so it might be a good idea to watch Forrest Gump beforehand for a little refresher. I rarely give 5-star reviews, but this restaurant truly met all three phases of dining. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with smiles and exceptional hospitality. I requested to sit at the bar to watch the basketball game, and it was no issue at all. Once seated, our server Dazz took great care of us, providing fast service and promptly answering our menu questions. Our orders were taken accurately and served promptly without any mix-ups. Loved everything about this place! The service was amazing and they have little signs to let your server know when you need them to stop by or skip your table. The food is fresh and delicious and not super expensive. The atmosphere is fun and cute. Lots ofthemed decorations. Menu is primarily seafood, mostly shrimp, but still varied and extensive. You can find something foreveryone here. Lots of grear variety, including the drinks. Prices are also just right for a date night. LGBTQ friendly! We hada great time.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would gladly give Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. 10 stars! They were incredible! We celebrated my dad's 86th birthday here, as it was his choice, and 22 of us gathered for the occasion. The two hosts at the entrance efficiently accommodated our group of 22. Our server, Franklin, provided fantastic service—thank you! The food was excellent as well, and we were all served simultaneously with hot meals.
Really great and tasty food! Came here after spending the day at the aquarium and my wife saw the menu and said we have to try it out. The steak and fish were cooked perfectly and the artichoke dip was righteous! The check-in system was decent, but we did wait about 1ins for someone to come and seat us after we had been called up. Their system was probably funky that day though.
There was a little of a wait but other than that, food was pretty good. We did try one of the menu recommended dishes which was the calamari but it wasn 't as good as the other dishes we got which weren 't marked as recommended. Don 't be afraid to try something that isn 't a popular dish at the restaurant!!
It was my first time dining here, and I had a fantastic experience! The food was fresh and delicious, but I was a bit disappointed with the portion size for $6. I expected a cup, but what I received was a small bowl with a slight bump in the middle. Other than that, the experience was excellent!

One of my favorite restaurants! They really capture the vibe of the movie Forrest Gump. The food is great, and they offer a wide selection of delicious drinks. It can get quite crowded, but the wait is definitely worth it. Highly recommend!
