I was disappointed with the treatment I received from the manager/owner at this restaurant, despite being a loyal customer. They did not take responsibility for their mistakes. My first drink seal broke and leaked milktea into my Togo bag, and after it was replaced, it broke again at my table, causing a mess. Additionally, when I flipped over the honey lemon water to mix it, the sealer broke and spilled the drink on me. I had to repeatedly ask for paper towels to clean up the mess. The food at this restaurant is decent considering it is located in a food court and is reasonably priced. The service was quick, although there were a few people waiting for at least 10 minutes. I tried the beef tripe noodle with fish base soup and bubble waffles. The soup was tasty, but the noodles and meat seemed processed, which is to be expected at a food court. The bubble waffles were okay, but they were not the best considering the restaurant calls itself a bubble waffle cafe. I would recommend trying the rice or noodle bowls instead, as the bubble waffles are only $1.50 extra. The employees at this restaurant are unfriendly and their online payment system is confusing. They have a self-service payment area that is easy to use, but it does not provide an electronic receipt. The printed hard copy receipt was located behind the screen and other equipment, making it difficult to find. When I went to pick up my order, I was asked for the hard copy receipt, which I had trouble locating. Instead of helping me find it, the staff scolded me for not having it ready. It would be helpful if they provided clearer instructions or had the receipt come out where it is more visible.

Richmond Centre Bubble Waffle Cafe can become quite crowded. The option to pay online is a convenient feature. When I ordered just a waffle, it was already prepared and handed to me hot. They have some waffles ready in line. The waffle itself was delicious, crispy, and sweet. The dining area may feel chaotic, especially during holiday times, so not everyone may feel comfortable with the high volume of people at this mall.

The combos are quite good and the rice noodles are tasty. I have been dining here for a while now, but over time, I have grown tired of the noodles and don't bother eating them anymore. However, the other items on the menu are also delicious. I highly recommend the curry fish balls.

Your Hong Kong style quick fix. Great menu and combo that will keep everyone happy. Laksa chicken noodle is my favourite with an ice lemon tea. Good portion and fair pricing. Efficient online ordering, which gives you 10% off if you order online ahead. Love this place!

Excessive use of yellow reusable bags rather than using the food trays. I wasn't asked if I wanted a bag. The food was excellent and the service was friendly. The waste sorting area was loaded with yellow bags destined for the landfill.
