I visited the restaurant with some friends yesterday, and while they had live singers and allowed us to bring our own drinks, the experience was disappointing overall. We waited an hour for our waiter to come to our table. He spoke Spanish but insisted on communicating in broken English, which was frustrating. We ordered an appetizer, two main courses, a side dish, and a dessert for the two of us, and everything was absolutely delightful. The portions were generous without being overwhelming, unlike some other Italian restaurants we’ve visited, and the seasoning was spot on. I had family visiting from out of state who had never been to this restaurant before, and it turned out to be a wonderful evening. Our waiter, Mark, was friendly and personable, and the food was exceptional. We started with the roasted beet salad, fried calamari, and clams oreganata for appetizers. My NY Strip was cooked perfectly, although the sauce was a bit salty, which I still enjoyed. Based on how much my family enjoyed their meals, I’d say it was a fantastic night out! The staff was attentive without being intrusive, and there was a very welcoming atmosphere. Mark was well-informed about the menu and took great pride in working at the restaurant. I visited this restaurant on a Thursday afternoon and was greeted with a warm smile from the manager, Jennifer. My friends ordered salads, while I went for the chicken. The dishes were not only beautifully presented but also delicious. The new location is smaller than the previous one, but it has a more refined and cozy vibe. While the street construction was a slight inconvenience, it shouldn’t stop you from going, as there is a parking garage right across the street. The restaurant allows bring-your-own-beverage (BYOB) and has outdoor seating available. I highly recommend BUCCO if you’re in the area!
After exploring the restaurants featured in Bloomfield's Restaurant Week, we opted to dine at Bucco. It was fantastic in every aspect – from the beautiful decor and inviting atmosphere to the attentive and friendly staff. The food was excellent as well; I tried the Chicken Milanese and can honestly say it's the best I've ever had! I can't wait to return soon!
