Four of us tried Buckley's for the first time, after visiting Longwood Gardens for the Orchid Extravaganza. Our cocktails and wine were very good as well as our Exotic Mushroom Soup, Clam Chowder and Pear Salad Appetizers. We chose Chicken Pot Pie, Chicken Breast Chausseur and Shrimp and Grits (two of us) as our entrees. All were excellent. Cobbler of the Day was Apple, which two of us thoroughly enjoyed. It was served with Vanilla Ice Cream. I had the Ghirardelli Brownie Sundae and substituted the Pink Peppermint Chip Ice Cream in place of the vanilla. Great food and staff in a comfortable old farmhouse setting. Stopped in for dinner and sat at the bar and the staff was friendly and attentive. Enjoyed a drink and ordered dinner which was the chicken pot pie. Everything was hot and fresh and loaded with quality ingredients and great flavors. I decided to get a dessert and the coconut cake was an excellent choice with a large slice delivered to me. Everything was an excellent value with the flavor and quality and ample portions for the price. I would definitely stop in again when in the area and would visit more often if it were closer to home.

I was there with some of my family on Sunday for the Pajama Brunch celebrating my 50th birthday. It was my first time there and I can't wait to come back! The staff were very so friendly and the food was absolutely incredible! We all had a great time wearing our pajamas out in public. I live in Levittown PA and it was definitely worth the drive to Delaware and back!!!

Met friends for dinner here after having a great lunch experience a few months ago. My second trip did not disappoint- excellent service and amazing food. Excellent fish and chips. Very dry and crispy (not soggy). Coupled with a decent beer menu makes for a darn good dinner.
