Buddy's Pizza Downtown Detroit

I was recommended to visit this restaurant while in Detroit, and I can see why! The pizza was delicious with a perfect crust and just the right amount of sauce. The toasted garlic on top was a pleasant surprise and added to the overall experience. The wings were also excellent, much better than what you typically find at pizza places. For dessert, I tried a slice of the lemon cake which was unlike anything I had tasted before. It wasn't overly sweet but packed with flavor, making it a unique and enjoyable treat. I will definitely be returning next time I'm in Detroit.

I recently had one of the best pizzas I've ever tasted at this restaurant. It was exactly how I like it and I would give it 5 stars. The service was great as well. However, my experience took a turn for the worse when I went to use the restroom at the end of my meal and found one of the chefs using it. I was completely disgusted by what I saw and it tarnished my opinion of the place. I typically am not easily bothered by these things, but this was just too much for me.

Bud was embarrassed, but still honored our reservation and sat within 10 minutes. our waitress was friendly and fast. she brought our drinks immediately and our food shortly after. I still can't believe how fast everything came, even though they had a whole house and the door was running out. we will definitely come back.
