Buddy's Pizza Grand Rapids

Buddy’s is a good option if you really enjoy that Detroit style that made the original Buddy ubiquitous. The style is crispy, with each slice feels like a “corner”. I was happy with my pizza. And the size was big enough to feed me for a few days. Unfortunately, there is a negative that simply cannot be ignored. To be honest, these pizzas cost a lot. I usually find a cost target — I am willing to pay more for better quality food. But with the opening of Quarantion near EastTown with similar Detroit style pizza with comparable options and taste for half price, it makes it difficult to recommend Buddys about Quarantion’s. By the way, I will always welcome a restaurant that decides to offer vegan options. This is a welcome addition to a franchise that gives vegans a choice when ordering with a group of friends.

Esta es la segunda vez que vamos a Buddy's y el servicio nos pareció terrible. Nos sentamos rápidamente después de entrar, sin embargo, pasaron minutos antes de que tuviéramos una camarera. Nos dijeron que había una falta de comunicación en cuanto a quién debía esperar en nuestra mesa. Entonces nuestro pedido fue incorrecto, aunque no nos cobraron por esa pizza. Me parece que el servicio y el ambiente general son caóticos. La pizza es buena, pero el servicio y la confusión general arruinan la comida. He tenido comida y creo que prefiero eso a que me atiendan ... o no.

The house salad was great. I ordered a BYO pizza with Daiya cheese, but was surprised when I took a bite and found that they put real cheese under the vegan cheese. The waitress mentioned confirming with the kitchen, it was daiya before it came out. The cheese on the pizza looked vegan up, but there were distinctive genuine cheeses underneath. She was apologetic and they took it off. Remember when you order your cake. Updated by previous rating on 2022-08-10

Muy buena pizza. Había planeado salir a comer el sábado, para el día de la tarta. Mi pizza favorita, la Ultimate Italian ha sido rebautizada como The Woodward. Sigue siendo una gran pizza, no importa cómo la llamen.
