Possibly the worst Mexican restaurant in existence. I was robbed of $50 for a 3 person meal. My wife’s “mole tamales platillo” were dry and bland. It honestly tasted like it was taken right out of a a deep freeze with freezer burn, it was even pale in color and just terrible. We looked past it and thought maybe it was just a bad menu item… Then came my carne asada burrito which tasted like old, ****, rancid meat, the beans were far from authentic, the Mayo salsa at the table was disgusting. When I mentioned my unsatisfactory burrito to the waitress, (I only took one bite and could not stomach the rest) she took the entire plate and apologized. because of covid it is operated by a fantastic guy. he has excellent eating and the salsa is great. the Queso-Dip is nothing like I ever had and so delicious. at the moment, because he has short staff, he does not do pupusa, but I hope that soon changes because I heard that they sound like nothing else. I had the veggie burrito and it had so many tasty things that I felt corrupted. my friend has steak tacos and there is enough steak to make an extra taco every time chips and guac are fixed.
a hidden gem. we had the veggie tamale and pupusas. both were delicious with a lot of four homemade salsas. very nice place, well furnished, very clean. the service was attentive and very friendly. eating was a great value, even compared to other hispanic places in the opposite. we really enjoyed our meal and will definitely be back. The service at this restaurant was extremely friendly. The food was decent, but not outstanding. They are currently facing staff shortages like many other restaurants, so I understand that this visit may not have been the best representation of their full experience. I will give them another try in the future.
If I could rate this restaurant a 10, I would. The owner is absolutely amazing. The food is fantastic! I had a party with 20 people who had never eaten there before and they all loved the tacos he prepared. I'm sure he gained 20 new customers after hearing their rave reviews that night.
