We recently revisited the Buffalo Grill with friends who had never visited one before. There is a monthly change to the menu, with several new items throughout the year, and this keeps the menus fresh to previous customers. As usual you are presented with a salad with a strong dressing while you peruse the menu, and a dish of popcorn.Once you have ordered, a basket of warm bread rolls is also supplied. The drinks menu is extensive, but sometimes, drinks are included in the packaged menus - worth checking before you order them separately.Four of us shared 2 Tapas selection for two persons, which was probably more than enough, if you intend to have three courses! For my main course I tried one of the tasting dishes (Assiettes découvertes), which had barbecue ribs, chili con Carne and Barbecued chicken wings (called Buffalo Wings). All were prepared to perfection, and very well presented. Our waitress spoke a little English, but provided us with an English menu.If your server has no English, then the English menu is not so helpful on it's own, as the server will not recognise the English versions of the items you choose, so a helpful tip would be to have at least one French menu so that you can indicate which dish you require IN FRENCH!I finished up by sharing a "Diligence of Desserts" which consists of seven different desserts from the menu in smaller portions. It is a great way to discover which are your favourites if you cannot make up your mind, or to finally discover what exactly is that item listed as "Fromage Blanc" which turned out to be like Fromage Frais with a caramel sauce or fruit coulis on top.We felt the prices were reasonable, and if you have time in between course, there is free WiFi, which enables you to share pictures of your experience with friends at home.I have ticked unsure for the budget question, as it depends very much on your own budget, but we felt it was cheaper than similar meals had elsewhere, and is very entertaining for children if yours are still of an age to enjoy the crayons and puzzles that can be provided.I wouldn't say it was romantic - but we always see romantic couples at adjacent tables whenever we have visited, so again, unsure, it depends on individual taste!
