We arrived late in the day tired and hungry and didn't really have a lot of choices of where we were in Macon, so chose the buffalo Grill. We had to wait minutes for a table not because they didn't have a table but...because the kitchen were absolutely rushed off their feet and they were working so hard in there (we could see them through their window). It was definitely worth the wait, out waitor was great, polite, friendly and efficient, we had burgers, steak and the ribs and they all came out piping hot, cooked perfectly and really really delicious. Had an awful meal here a couple of years ago. Thought we’d give it another go. Not impressed! Put on a small table very near a noisy family group with an extremely loud child. Asked to move to a quieter table. Shown one even closer!...I pointed out that it was just as bad and indicated lots of empty tables further away. Was told they were for people. I asked where all the people were? Got a shrug! I indicated a table for two in a far corner. Grudgingly allowed to sit there. Then I had to retrieve menus from original table myself. Whilst the restaurant was clean and the prices were reasonable, the steak meal was not. Ordered as saignant' with frites et salade, the steak was served almost raw and cold in the middle and was returned. It was re-served after re-heating, but was tough, full...of gristle and carbonised on the outside which ruined the taste. Being hungry after a very long drive from Calais we ate the meal cutting out the many gristley bits, but it was not satisfactory. The only good things were the frites and wine! We made comment to the young Manageress who said the chef would be informed, but offered nothing else. We paid in full because we hadn't refused to eat the meals.
We visited the grill for evening bite to eat. This was our first visit to a Buffalo grill so not sure what to expect. The waiters could all speak English although I did try to use some Franglais! We were given a small bowl of...salad and fresh bread roll before ordering a drink or food (this was not added to the bill). My husband's beer came with a bucket of popcorn and my mojito had a cute marshmallow decoration different. Our meals came very quickly and were reasonable. Would definitely recommend. The service and waiters were all very accomodating.

arrived and the restaurant wasn't even half full turned a table from 4 away from us. told us an hour wait before they could take a command, said it was okay that we would sit and have a drink, but was said no that was not possible so we went along with the couple behind us. will not go back to buffalo grill
the ambiente is very nice, but the service was bad. we asked for medium steaks for our children, but we are served practically raw meat. When we complained, we were told that the chefs were already gone. our children hardly ate half their steaks, but we were. still charged full cost.
Not offered complementary salad and as we were the only English speaking people in the place and every one else was I have to wonder. Mixed up our wine order. Placed the bill on the table a couple of minutes after . Should we feel...paranoid? On positive side food was good.

One of the great things about Buffalo Grill are that the standards of service and food seem to be the same throughout. However the welcome salad on this occasion was not fresh. It was poor.
