Buffet Star - Reservar una mesa

Wanted Chinese and ended up at Buffet Star in Vestal for dinner which was a huge fail in it 's self. Long story short, when a restaurant is gouging prices, the food is cold or hard as a rock and they demand a tip when your waitress if you could call her that gives you your drink, disappears the whole time while you are eating and let 's your plates pile up till you leave, I 'd rather take my business elsewhere. I was shocked at how rude the people that run that place are and honestly seeing the parking lot almost empty at 430pm, that says alot. Don 't waste your time or money. $50 for 2 adults and a child for disgusting food. I ll pass. ??

My wife and I visit every couple of months.Quality of food is satisfactory for the price point.I'm not blown away by it however it's a nice change of pace every now and then.We are seated quickly usually.We like to choose our own seats rather than be directed to our table as they tend to place everyone seemingly on top of one another basically forcing you to become louder than the tables around you in order to have a meaningful conversation over lunch or dinner.Very dim and outdated.So not my favorite place to visit but it's still worth revisiting every once in a while.

My family and I woke up sick to our stomach the following day. The food looked really appetizing and so we decided to stay to eat there. We were regretting it shortly after. It 's too greasy for us. What made the experience worse was she we paid and didn 't add a tip bc I don 't usually tip at a buffet since I 'm serving myself. 2 female employees came back to our table with the receipt and pen in hand and loudly told my husband to write the suggested amount instead. That was super uncomfortable. So, if you 're the owner and you 're reading this.... so doing that.

There was a bug in my food. Nasty bacteria and the waiter pretended to not understand what I said .
