I've been here for years. 2022 will be our last!! We always drive our bikes here. Become the best atmosphere!! Waited almost 40 minutes to get a waitress!! The place is obviously dead by terrible service. The food was once again terrible with the owner playing on their phone in the lobby, while the 2 people working tried to lead the place. I understand why the son of a beach is so busy. Only sad to see this beauty of a place in the ground.
We spend August long weekend at Sylvan lake as every year and since our favourite night restaurant Bukwildz was booked we headed here, their sister restaurant. I have to say that this pet friendly place is very good, service was superb, food was delicious. I won?t give 5 starts because the sitting chairs and sofas need attention. I highly recommend this place next time you visit the lake.
Additionally, there was no changing table in the bathroom, so I had to change my toddler’s dirty diaper while kneeling in a stall. I might not return because of that experience. On a positive note, the tacos were fantastic! They really saved this review from being just one star. But it’s really unprofessional to badmouth your service in front of customers—yikes!
The waitress who served us was really sweet and friendly, and so was the hostess. The food was not very good, and it was expensive, but what made the experience bad was the amount of fruit flies and flies. It was a bit exaggerated where we were sitting. Totally disappointed. Maybe it was just a bad day, because the other reviews seem great.
