Bull And Swan - Reservar una mesa

Come on Bull and Swan, sort it out! Went with kids for early evening dinner. Sat outside in the garden under the pergola (garden definitely needs some TLC and regular maintenance and Magic FM playing through the speakers is not ok) Service better than previously,...but food very disappointing. Kids had sausage and mash, Which they said was ok (eldest said mash was cold though). I had chicken burger at off the new menu (week old menu). Very disappointing for the price, bland chicken breast, tiny bit of brie and some token tomato and lettuce. Side of coleslaw sloppy and unappetising. We also had a tapas' calamari which consisted of tiny rings of calamari atop a scrunched piece of greaseproof paper to bulk out the bowl. To be fair the Manager Jill came over to take my feedback and seemed intent on fixing things. The Bull and Swan is a potential gold mine with potentially the best garden in central Stamford (almost no competition) but food overpriced for the quality and service sometimes patchy. Sort it out Bull and Swan, what should be so good, so often disapoints

at the moment I sit in the bull and swan in stamford with breakfast. the personal is so friendly and the guest house is bursting with character. eating is exceptional and the accommodation is perfect in every sight. I have absolutely nothing to say. that's in some way critical. stamford is a very beautiful city and the bull and swan belongs to the hotel group that runs the william cecil hotel. the two accommodations are located directly next to the burghley estate, where the site of capability brown was created. this stunning parkland is accessible from the hotel and is fantastic for dog walkers. So when they visit stamford, then the bull and swan is the first place to try and book!

Called in today for a couple of beers. Decided to order a bowl of chips. Bar staff consulted with who I assume was manager who walked off ignoring my request, which I found quite rude. Was told that food wasn't being served. Couple on table...next to us had food bought to their table just after we arrived so assumed we had just missed last orders. minutes later another table arrived and had food bought out to them which included fish and chips. Shame would have stayed alot longer. Finished beers and left. Ignorant service and trying to charge similar prices to the George! Avoid if you want food.

Had an excellent stay at the Bull Swan for my husbands birthday. The room was lovely (room and the staff could not be more helpful. We had breakfast at the sister hotel (William Cecil) just a short walk away we parked...here too. Breakfast was amazing Eggs benedict on homemade brioche . We asked for some black pudding on the side not a problem . We will be back!

poor service at the bar! waited mins with a bar station for service that had an employment when I mentioned that the customer service was bad. will try to avoid future and tell my friends.
