Located off the beaten path, this restaurant is definitely worth the journey through picturesque countryside and charming villages. Our Sunday lunch experience was fantastic, with a delicious roast sirloin of beef accompanied by sweet roasted carrots, crispy roast potatoes, and a Yorkshire pudding filled with bacon and sprouts. The extensive burger menu was a hit, particularly with the chilli enthusiast in our group. The kids menu was impressive, and the desserts, including sticky toffee pudding and chocolate brownie, did not disappoint. The restaurant has a welcoming staff, serves delicious and simple food, and has a laid-back atmosphere. They also allow dogs in the bar area. My visit on a Friday evening in November was peaceful, no reservation needed. The average cost per person is between £20-£30. The food was rated 3 out of 5, service 4 out of 5, and atmosphere 3 out of 5. I recommend trying their mackerel dish.
