I pulled up and ordered an item. When it was brought to my car, it looked like it had been carelessly thrown together. I asked to speak with the manager. She came out, and I explained that I had purchased this item before, but it had never been prepared like this. Instead of offering good customer service by asking if I wanted them to remake it, she immediately said they would refund my money. On top of that, when I said I would go to the other Bumpers location, she said she would call them to let them know. I asked why she needed to call them, and her attitude was rude throughout the experience.
I had a coupon from corporate that I intended to use at this location. However, the manager, Yolanda, informed me that I couldn’t use it here, and our interaction went back and forth. Ironically, this is the same location where my original complaint was addressed. I even reached out to corporate again about this issue, but I received no response. The staff, including the managers and carhops, were quite rude. Additionally, the restaurant appears to be in disrepair. I'm not sure what the dress code is supposed to be, but it seems like anything goes.
I had a voucher to redeem from the company, but Manager Yolanda informed me that I couldn't use it here, and there was a lot of back and forth about it. This is where my complaint started. I also reached out to the company again but didn't receive any response. The behavior of the managers was quite rude, which added to my frustration. The atmosphere of this place is not great either. I'm left wondering what the dress code is supposed to be. Overall, it was a disappointing experience for me.
We stopped at Bumpers Drive In during a road trip from Ohio. Having never heard of it before, we decided to give it a try. The food was good, and the service was quick and friendly. However, there wasn't anything exceptional or standout about the food that would make me choose Bumpers over Sonic or a similar restaurant. If I passed through the area again, I might stop by, but I wouldn’t go out of my way or specifically look for Bumpers. It wasn’t particularly memorable.

The food at Bumpers Drive In was outstanding, and the server was incredibly friendly and welcoming. However, the intercom system is quite loud and could be improved to protect customers' hearing.
The food has an enticing aroma reminiscent of a fair! However, the venue itself could benefit from some updates.
I really love the shakes and the Philly steak sandwich at this restaurant. Both are absolutely delicious!
