You took advantage of the fact that I had too much to drink on a Monday and treated me poorly. I inquired about the spicy beef, but you ended up serving me a very disappointing regular Pho instead. You could have been rude to me for not handling my alcohol well, but I chose to take it to go out of respect. There were only four slices of beef and no meatballs—that was the saddest Pho I've ever seen. It's no surprise that nobody seems to know about your restaurant; you don’t even meet the most basic standards.
Bun Viet is well-known for their ?Bún m?m? (I will call it Spicy seafood soup) this is my favorite. It might be too spicy for who can?t handle the heat, so make sure to check with the owner/chef. This new place is cute, clean and tidy. I always call in advance for pick up since this place quite busy, so prepare for the wait if you just walk-in. Generous portion and the soup always good. Bonus, I often order extra ?Ch? m?c? to go (see picture attached), you can freeze and eat them later.
The quaint atmosphere and the amazing staff made this place worth going to as a start, but once the food rolled out it was even better! I highly recommend trying their general tao chicken bowl since it is remarkably good! The only downside is that when I came, half the menu items were unavailable due to stock shortage, but it definitely paid off with the already great selection.
