In a small village well served by coffee shops and restaurants, Buongusto stands out from the crowd. It is spacious, offers a variety of seating, has an interesting selection of cakes and biscuits, and no doubt proposes an interesting menu of light meals. The charming staff are efficient and courteous. In good weather I prefer to sit in shade at a sturdy table on the footpath, well protected from car doors and traffic by an attractive wooden barrier topped by pretty planter boxes. It's that attention to detail which sets Buongusto apart from the melée.
Genuine friendly service from the ladies at Buongusto. A varied menu with plenty of specials and all-day breakfast (which I ordered at lunchtime). Good value with the meals. In defiance of the previous reviews, I actually found the coffee a little too bitter, as if it may've been brewed just a little too hot (or the bean they used a little over-roasted), but a minor complaint on an otherwise very pleasant visit. Will try to make sure to come back - recommended.
Newcomer to East Ivanhoe and a great addition too. Lovely coffee, interesting menu. Brunch is the way to go at this place. Delicious bercher muesli, pancakes and of course coffee is a must.We found it very busy on the day we visited and a good tip for staff would be to take it all in their stride and enjoy their popularity - a smile and a bit of humour would go a long way :) A delightful addition to East Ivanhoe with a smart interior. Closed on Mondays.
Daniella has done a fantastic job creating an amazing atmosphere at Buongusto. I adored my hazelnut meal and raspberry cake, and the Bircher muesli and cappuccino were top-notch as well. Despite having many favorite restaurants around the world, Buongusto is now at the top of my list.

There is always a smile to be had and a great coffee. Recommend the home make cakes and muffins. Of course, cooked breakfast is wonderful too.
A lovely cafe. Great hoime made cakes and very good coffee. A warm atmosphere and good service. We had coffee and cake. All was delicious.
The food, coffee, and people at this restaurant are amazing. It's a beautiful place to unwind and take a moment for yourself.
