Burg Cafe - Reserva de mesa

Discovering this café is not so easy but extremely worthwhile! I was often in Amöneburg and enjoyed the unique flair of this workshop on the basalt cone, but the castle café was not on my way. Last time, I was curious to follow the signs and was totally enthusiastic about the situation, the outlook, the service and not least the gastronomic offer. From the name of the café you cannot be irritated, while the castle ruins are within walking distance, but not visible. Much more, one sits “behind the church” on the edge of the basalt cone and has the lower city as well as the view far into the forest and the bird mountain. Apparently, the muzzles were homemade, but they looked suspiciously like those of citizens and tasted just like that. Small portions, very fat, hardly spiced. For this, prices like in the upscale gastronomy. The service was really friendly, but also at the view: we don't come back.

One of the most beautiful places I know!!! A fantastic view! Beautifully located, delicious food or even simple. Whether for lunch or for coffee, always suitable. And the operation is beautiful! Very recommended! When visiting the Amöneburg is simply a must!

Very nice place and café Delicious food, nice service and beautiful cakes to choose from. We took our lunch there during today's hike. And even the weather and on the terrace enjoyed the view. We're coming back

Were here by bike and have lunch. Small menu, but all freshly prepared for it. The food was very tasty. Was there already for coffee. The cake is very good. Come back.
